Michael E. Porter of Harvard Business School has said "“The purpose of the corporation must be redefined as creating shared value, not just profit per se. This will drive the next wave of innovation and productivity growth in the global economy.”
Sasha Courville is the General Manager Corporate Social Responsibility at NAB and has agreed to speak of her experiences in "Shared Value - going beyond corporate social responsibility".
Sasha says "shared value is the future of business. It provides a useful way of thinking that allows business to help address society’s challenges while also generating profit and creating value for consumers".
And these days, Australia is punching above its weight. We have some of the world’s best examples of shared value being delivered across a number of industries in Australia, a team focused on supporting customers to get out of hardship, followed by IAG, AIA, Lion, Engel, Harrikins Group, Bendigo and Adelaide Bank and Amcor and others.
Shared value is now a world-wide movement with some of the largest corporations as members.
Hear how entrepreneurship and shared value are complementary concepts and practices growing value through this strategic approach.
This will be a moderated conversation supported by Mark Harrison, Partner at Pitcher Partners.
You're invited to attend for a light lunch.
